Asics Cancer Awareness Collection

August 27th, 2013

We think it’s awesome when our brands support worthy charitable causes. This Fall, Asics will introduce not one but three limited edition models to support cancer awareness efforts.

Pediatric Cancer – Gold Ribbon

For every Gel Noosa Tri 8 GR (Gold Ribbon) made available nationwide from September 1 to September 30, 2013, Asics America will donate $2.00 to Cookies For Kids’ Cancer, a leading national non-profit organization raising funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer. The company guarantees at least $25,000 to support the foundation. We brought in the Noosa Tri 8 GR in Men’s and Women’s sizes.

Breast Cancer – Pink Ribbon

From October 1 to October 31, 2013, Asics America will donate $2.00 per pair of GT-1000 2 PR (Pink Ribbon) shoes sold, with a guaranteed donation of $100,000, up to $125,000, for Christina Applegate’s Right Action for Women charity. This foundation provides assistance to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer. We’ll carry the GT-1000 2 PR in Women’s and Men’s sizes.

Prostate Cancer – Blue Ribbon

From November 1 to November 30, 2013, Asics America will donate $2.00 per pair of GT-2000 2 BR (Blue Ribbon) shoes sold to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $25,000, up to $50,000. We’ll carry the Men’s version (complete with faux mustache on the tongue, this is for Mo-vember after all) and the Women’s version.
